The end of 2015 promises to be exciting:
- The new Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be submitted to the United Nations for approval from 25 to 27 September 2015;
- Paris will host the 21st climate conference (COP21) from 30 November to 11 December 2015.
The 8th edition of the Convergences World Forum, held from 7 to 9 September 2015, will be placed in this particularly inspiring international context.
I invite you to discover the provisional programme of the Forum, which has been jointly developed by our 5 working groups and the Board of Convergences since last December. It is focused on the topic “Climate and Development challenge: co-creating sustainable solutions” and breaks down into 3 pillars:
- The new Sustainable Development Goals: Taking Ownership of the Universal Roadmap
- The Business Models that Accelerate Social Change
- Tackling Climate Change with an Agenda of Shared Solutions
In order to enrich the program of the Forum, Convergences is launching an online call for proposals open to external actors, who will be able to get involved in different ways:
- Intervention: to be or to suggest a speaker to the World Forum
- Session: to co-organize one among the approximately 40 sessions of the World Forum
- Professional Marketplace: to be an exhibitor of the World Forum Marketplace
- Convergences Awards: to apply to the 2015 Convergences Awards, granted during the World Forum
I am pleased to invite you to apply for this call by filling the online form before 23 March, 2015.
