During the World Forum Convergences 2015, the Laureates of the Convergences Awards have been elected and one Climate special prize has been attributed.
The International Award was attributed to two nominees :
- The partnership between Gret and Institut Supérieur d’Enseignement Technologique de Rosso (ISET) (in French), with the support of the Parc National de Diawling (PND) (in French) in Mauritania for the project Charbon Typha Mauritanie.
- The partnership betwen the Instituto Nenuca de Desenvolvimento Sustentavel (INSEA) and Danone Brazil, with the support of Danone Ecsysteme Fund, for the project Novo Ciclo
The European Award was awarded to the partnership between Passeport Avenir (in French) et la Accenture Fund for the project Tutorat Passeport Avenir.
The Special “Climate” Award rewarded the partnership between International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Practical Action, International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), Wharton University et le Zurich Insurance Group for the project Zurich Flood Resilience.
