Monaco Government, through its public aid for development and international cooperation policy, has made the fight against poverty a priority for intervention. Each year, over 130 projects are supported by the Government in 12 countries, mainly among the Least Developed Countries (LCD) in the world: Madagascar, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Mauritania, Senegal and Burundi. Monegasque aid focuses on three areas of intervention: health, education for all and socio-economic integration, with a core focus on the most vulnerable populations (children, women, refugees, people with disabilities…).
